Welcome to Photo Cleaner (the "App"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.

We follow a privacy-first and on-device approach whenever possible. We may process:

- **Basic device/app information**: such as device model, OS version, and app version (for compatibility and troubleshooting).
- **Photo library access**: after your permission, the App accesses your photo library to detect duplicates, similar photos, screenshots, and blurry photos.
- **Usage/diagnostic data** (optional): such as crash logs, error logs, and performance data to improve stability and user experience.
- **Purchase and membership status** (if applicable): one-time lifetime membership entitlement via Apple In-App Purchase APIs. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- **Advertising and device identifiers** (if applicable): the App integrates Umeng interstitial ads. If you allow App Tracking in the system prompt, we may use your device identifier (IDFA) for ad optimization. You can disable tracking anytime in iOS Settings.

## 2. How We Use Information

We use information only for legitimate product purposes, including:

- Providing core cleanup features (scan, classify, and cleanup suggestions).
- Managing membership purchase status and ad-free entitlements.
- Displaying and optimizing in-app interstitial ads (Umeng SDK).
- Debugging, improving performance, and optimizing user experience.
- Meeting legal and regulatory obligations.

## 3. Photo Processing

- Photo analysis is primarily performed on-device.
- We do not proactively upload your original photos to our own servers for storage or sale.
- Deletion actions are initiated by you and executed via system photo APIs; deleted items may move to "Recently Deleted" based on Apple system behavior.

## 4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose limited data only when necessary:

- With your explicit consent;
- To trusted service providers for essential operations (e.g., Apple IAP, Umeng ad SDK), under contractual restrictions;
- To comply with applicable laws, legal process, or government requests.

## 5. Data Storage and Security

- We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
- Certain app preferences and settings are stored locally on your device.

## 6. Your Rights and Choices

You can manage your data and permissions at any time:

- Grant or revoke Photos permission in iOS Settings;
- Uninstall the App to remove local app data (subject to system/third-party cache behavior);
- Contact us for privacy-related requests.

## 7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected a child's data unintentionally, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

## 8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Apple IAP (purchase validation) and Umeng interstitial ads (ad delivery and related device identifier processing). Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

Core cleanup features (scan, categories, batch delete) are free for everyone. Membership is a one-time purchase that removes in-app interstitial ads only.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to product, legal, or operational changes. Updated versions may be notified through the App, the App Store listing, or other reasonable channels.
